We would like to invite you for a visit to the three-star hotel ARMALES in Stakčín, forming the entrance to POLONINY National Park, characterized by special flora and fauna.
The hotel is surrounded by the beautiful hills of the Vihorlat Mountains with Sninský kameň (Snina Stone) and Morské oko (Sea Eye), Starina water reservoir and Východné Karpaty (the East Carpathian Mountains).

Accommodation
The Hotel is ready to offer accommodation for individual guests as well as for groups. The capacity of the hotel is 40 beds and four comfortable suites. Our guests can be accommodated in one-, two- or three bedrooms and in one room for invalids. All rooms are equipped with WC, showers, TV set with satellite and phone.

The hotel provides board in the restaurant, an espresso on the terrace and the night bar. We also provide Sauna, Jacuzzi and massages. We offer guided tours and mushroom picking, biking and the possibilities of hunting and fishing.

Tourism and Sports
SWIMMING:
In summer it is possible to swim in the recreation centre SNINSKÉ RYBNÍKY (PONDS AT SNINA), which is only 6 km from Stakčín village. It includes three tiled swimming pools, supplied by water from Bystrá brook and two ponds with a natural bottom, the ponds are suitable for fishing. There is also a camp for children, a public camping place, sports equipment hire service. The nature around the whole recreation centre is exquisite, nearby is a remarkable beauty spot Sninský kameň - the Snina Stone.
FISHING:
There is one fishpond 6 km from the hotel. A fishing permit is possible to buy in the hotel. This pond is used also for water sports.
HUNTING
The hotel is able to arrange the hunting on all kinds of game according to the season of cull.
TOURISM
The wonderful natural surroundings of the hotel offers many possibilities for tourism in the National Park Poloniny. There are many tourist trails. The visitors can visit unique old forests and natural reserves as Stuzica, Riaba skala, Plasa, Rozok, Havesova, Stinska, Bzana, Ulicka, Ruske. The area is proud of the original Carpathian animals (bear, wolf, elk, buffalo, lynx) and flora (violet).
SKIING:
Skiing in the surrounding winter sport centres, 16 km away, is also possible in winter:
ULIČ-ČERTÍŽ
Tow 325 metres long, a capacity of 500 people per hour, an elevation of 67 metres.
PARIHUZOVCE
Village with three ski tows 450, 500, 800 metres long, capacity of 350, 580, 1140 people per hour and an elevation of 160, 180, 232 metres, respectively. Large car-park for visitors. The slopes are covered with artificial snow in the case when there is a lack of snow !!!
