Description
SKI Park Kubinska Hola is situated in the wonderful nature of the Oravska Magura massif and is one of the most frequently visited winter sport resorts in Slovakia.
With an altitude from 720 up to 1390 m.o.s. and with a south exposition, fans of winter sports can find a modern ski resort with a variety of trails and transport facilities, with a capacity of about 7000 passengers per hour.
Trails:
There are 11km of daily maintained trails available in our ski resort, with the possibility of artificial snow when necessary. Adrenalin lovers will surely be impressed by our free-ride zone and also by the highlight of the upcoming season – a brand new snowpark with plenty of jumps and bars, which will be equipped with its own ski lift. There are tracks with a length of 5 km prepared for lovers of cross-country skiing.
Transport facilities:
Certainly, there are modern transport facilities in the ski resort, dominaed by the 4 seat chairlift from POMA company. Along with the chairlift, there are 7 other ski lifts that guarantee fast transportation of passengers with an overall capacity of about 7000 people per hour.
Services:
For lovers of winter sports during the winter season, the SKI park offers in addition to the perfectly prepared downhill and cross-country trails, also other services, including: ski rentals and its services. For beginners, a ski school will certainly be interesting, with their certificated instructors that are pure profesionals and speak at least one foreign language (English, Hungarian, German, Russian, Polish).
For kids:
In the upcoming season there is an infant school project prepared for the kids, where they can acquaint themselves with snowy terrains in an amusing kind of way and perform their first steps on skis.There are going to be prepared many attractions and competitions for them.
Attractions:
To make the vacation more attractive we have prepared the chance to try out snowtubing, a downhill ride in a rafting skiff as well as the glacier wall on which the most courageous ones can test their climbing skills.
