Hotel Bránica**** is situated 22 km away from the town of Žilina, on the way to a very attractive part of Slovakia – in the Terchovská dolina (Terchovska valley). The locality is surrounded by Kysucké vrchy (Kysucke hills) and by the ridges of Malá Fatra (Low Fatra).
This area offers huge possibilities of recreation, tourism and sports. Touristic tracks run to Malá Fatra mostly. There is a good traffic connection to the hotel. The bus connection to Žilina (17 km) and to Vrátna dolina (Vrátna valley) (10 km) is frequent and so it makes very effective area there.
Hotel Bránica offers quality service in accommodation, gastronomy, relax and sports. Stylish hotel fittings, huge offer of service, possibility of the active relax indoors or outdoors make a big impression on our guests who are very satisfied.
The hotel has a capacity of 50 beds. The rooms are structured as 21 double rooms, 1 triple room, and 1 apartment. There are beds, which are single or double in the rooms.
Every room has got its own toilet and bathroom with a shower corner or a bath; it depends of the guests' request. For complete comfort there is a TV set with some satellite channels, a radio, a telephone, an electronic safe and a minibar. Guests can also connect to Internet by their own computers.
On the first floor there is an apartment and a room enabling a stay for disabled guests.
Of course every visitor will find our food delicious and our service perfect. There is a restaurant, a café and a summer terrace. The restaurant offers a beautiful place with many special meals typical for traditional Slovak cuisine, but also from the other countries of the world. The restaurant also has a fantastic menu and high quality wines, which make our guests satisfied, even a very pretentious "gurman". The café offers a lot of non-alcoholic drinks, delicious coffee, cakes, fruit and ice–cream.
The hotel offers not only relax by moving in the fresh air in the pure mountainous area but also a possibility of regeneration in the relax-centre with a swimming pool.
